Ontario Parks Ecologists were shocked to stumble upon so many threatened Blanding’s turtles at Misery Bay Provincial Park when visiting to conduct plant inventories. The situation turned grim when they returned to the provincially significant wetland the year later and found over 50 Blanding’s Turtle carcasses.
