Jen Willoughby has a degree in Zoology from the University of Guelph, where she took courses in Ecology, Animal Behaviour, and Wildlife Conservation and Management. During her degree, Jen was a summer intern at a wildlife rehabilitation center and was offered a paid position the following summer. She believes this helped her get her foot in the door for her career. Jen then pursued other ventures in animal care but has been shifting her direction towards conservation.

Jazmin Gall is pursuing a Biology degree with honors from Nipissing University, where she has taken courses in Herpetology, Field Ornithology, and Ecology of Ontario Trees. She has experience monitoring turtle populations, using technology to monitor bats and at-risk fish, and removing invasive species. Jazmin has also led volunteer activities like tree planting with the South Simcoe Streams Network. Currently working on her undergraduate thesis, she has developed skills in field measurements, sample collection, lab analyses, and report writing. Ambitious and a fast learner, Jazmin takes initiative and adapts to unexpected challenges in fieldwork. She is comfortable working independently, collaboratively, and in leadership roles, and she is excited for her next challenge in conservation and restoration.
