Adopt-A-Trail
Protect the trails we all love — see how your gift can make a lasting impact on the places we explore, walk, and connect with nature.
DO
- Keep dog(s) on leash at all times;
- Tread lightly & pack out garbage;
- Download a trail map in advance;
- Be prepared for the conditions, bring water, safety items and get to know the reserves;
- Stay on marked trail;
- Read our Drone Policy
DO NOT
- Let any pet off leash. This damages the reserve, and is harmful of wildlife and other visitors;
- Take anything from the forest, this is poaching. This includes mushrooms, flowers, berries sticks, etc;
- Release any wildlife you have caught;
- Litter – take home anything you bring and pick up after your pet.
The land on which we operate is the territory of Anishinaabeg. We are grateful to learn from this place and find peace here.
As we enjoy these trails, may we remember our responsibility to care for the land — its waters, plants, wildlife, and the stories it holds.
FYI
Hunting can occur in properties surrounding our nature reserves and precautions should be taken during hunting season, such as wearing bright colours like hunter orange and exercising caution at dawn and dusk.
