It features a cedar grove that provides excellent habitat for white-tailed deer, along with a diverse meadow that will attract a wide variety of pollinators including monarchs.

It also boasts a wetland that flows from Grant’s Woods Nature Reserve and provides excellent habitat for kinglets, warblers, wrens, amphibians, snakes and more.

Wetlands, a key feature of this land, are essential ecosystems that provide habitat for diverse flora and fauna, contribute to water quality, and serve as crucial buffers against flooding.

Best time to visit: any time. Be prepared for seasonal conditions (mosquitoes in the spring-summer, damp in the spring and fall, etc).
