Passport to Nature 2024-25 program launch!

Monday, April 22

We will be launching the 10th annual Passport to Nature program on Earth Day, with the digital booklet available for viewing on our website. Physical booklets will arrive early May and will be distributed across the region. Make sure you are signed up to our monthly newsletter so you are the first to know!

Participate in the Clothing Swap

Friday, April 12th to Sunday, April 14th

Blossom Plants & Goods and Marika Fox Decluttering are teaming up to host a clothing swap in celebration of Earth Day, with 100% of proceeds going to The Couchiching Conservancy! Full details here.

Support us in Eclectic Cafe’s Chopped for Charity

Saturday, April 20th

Eclectic Cafe is hosting their Chopped Champ for Charity with competitors vying to face Chef Melanie Robinson. The April 20 date is in support of the Conservancy! Get tickets here.

Join the Hikerbabes outing to two of our Nature Reserves

Sunday, April 21st at 9:00am

Staff member Tanya Clark will be leading the Hikerbabes Muskoka, Ontario Chapter through two of our nature reserves. Note that you must be a member of the Facebook group and sign their waiver to attend.

Missa Gaia / Earth Mass

Sunday, April 21st at 3:00pm

A performance of jazz musician Paul Winter’s Missa Gaia / Earth Mass by the St. Paul’s choir and friends in celebration of Earth Day. A multi-media presentation that harmoniously blends choral music with an instrumental ensemble, creating an experience that echoes the spirit of our planet.
 
We will be there with a table and to share a few words, and any extra funds collected from the free-will offering will be donated to The Couchiching Conservancy.

Couchiching Conservancy Discover Trails Day

Saturday, May 11th from 10am-2pm

Kick off this year’s Passport to Nature program with Discover Trails Day! This is your opportunity to discover The Couchiching Conservancy’s nature reserves with trails. Connect with volunteer trail ambassadors at one of three locations. Pick up resources, do an activity and learn about what you could see along the trails.

Participate in the 20th Annual Carden Challenge

Friday, May 24th to Saturday, May 25th

Join us for a 24-hour birding and biodiversity marathon in support of efforts to care for the Carden Alvar! This is a great way to build up your naturalist skills, support local work to protect nature and bonus…there is pie at the wrap up dinner. Learn more and register your team here.

Tour the Taste of Italy Fundraiser
