The Couchiching Conservancy office, which is located at Grant’s Woods Nature Reserve trailhead is under construction. We currently have 11 employees dedicated to land conservation, working in a building with four offices. Our storage room is being renovated to accommodate 3 additional desks. To make room for trailers and contractor vehicles during the week, we’re closing the parking lot to the public, which unfortunately means the trails will be inaccessible. Volunteers who need to access the office may still park.
Grant’s Woods trails will be open to the public during the weekend.
We anticipate this taking until the end of March. Fingers crossed!
