Together, we are ensuring special natural areas are protected forever.
In 2019, we launched our first multi-year fundraising campaign with a goal of raising 1.4 million dollars to protect habitat in the Black River and Carden corridors. Thanks to your generous donations, we’ve exceeded that goal. In total, we have protected 2,426-acres over nine nature reserves.
The final acquisition for this campaign is the Eldridge Nature Reserve, which has a total fundraising goal of $600,000. With $180,000 currently in the Corridors Campaign account, and a generous donation of $90,000 by the Eldridge family, we are well on our way, with $330,000 left to raise. Any donation you make that exceeds this fundraising goal will give us a head start on our next acquisition campaign, which we look forward to telling you about at our next Annual General Meeting on March 29, 2025.
