I know. It snowed. Some of us are elated, and we love to rub it in the faces of our friends who are ‘displeased’. And I know that normally we at The Couchiching Conservancy are telling you to get outside and get into nature and enjoy the beauty of the first snow fall… but today I am not going to do that to you. Today, in the spirit of ‘give the people what they want’ I am going to try to entice you to join us at two warm, cozy indoor events!

Passport to Nature: Are Your Kids Nuts for Nature?
The Couchiching Conservancy will be holding the 3rd “Nuts for Nature” family funfest at the Carden Recreation Centre this coming Sunday, June 11 from 9 am to 4 pm. The focus is on kids and their exposure to the natural world.

A Year in the Life: 365 Days of Conservation
There are 365 days in a year. That’s 52 weeks, 8760 hours or 525,600 minutes. For the supporters, volunteers and staff of The Couchiching Conservancy, that time is dedicated to protecting some of the wild landscapes in our region.
