A Year in the Life: 365 Days of Conservation
There are 365 days in a year. That’s 52 weeks, 8760 hours or 525,600 minutes. For the supporters, volunteers and staff of The Couchiching Conservancy, that time is dedicated to protecting some of the wild landscapes in our region.
Generous benefactor passes away
William “Bill” Grant, who donated Grant’s Woods to the Couchiching Conservancy a decade ago, passed away in late May. Mr. Grant had been a resident at Birchmere Retirement Home but was in failing health for the past year.
