In 2004, the 39.5 acre Agnew Easement was signed as a Conservation Lands Easement. In 2024, the property was donated to the Conservancy. This property contains a mix of habitats, from old meadows to conifer swamp to a section of Hogg Creek. Unique wildlife species have been bobolink, Eastern meadowlark, barn swallows and monarch butterflies. An active beaver colony provides open water for ducks, geese and swans. In 2019 the landowner partnered with Forests Ontario to enhance an old field into lush native grassland.
